Young Artists Curriculum
Opera Viva! is committed to a pedagogical and process-oriented curriculum. We adhere to two specific goals; namely that the student will sing better on the day they leave the program than on the day they arrive. We will also guide students along the path of being a versatile, comprehensive musician, capable of making a living making music.
Performing is a major component of Opera Viva! and the program is designed to focus and highlight the voice through private pedagogy lessons, opera coaching, recitative class, concert repertoire master classes, Alexander Technique and Italian language study. Every student performs on three public recitals during the three-week session.

1:00 – 7:00 Private lessons, coaching and scene rehearsals
